As the Head of Channel Sales you will focus on growing the our business through retail channels, their online sites and other B2B2C channels in Japan. This role reports to the Devices Director in Japan, and includes management responsibilities. The Channel Sales team owns the creation of sales and marketing strategies, in-store deployment strategies, and owns the execution of device sales and promotional activities on various channels. You will actively engage with internal and external partner teams in order to deliver financially viable and high-volume programs, and actively engage with channel partner leadership to unlock growth and support the ongoing operational management of the Channel Sales business. Key job responsibilities • Author and execute the strategy for how and where our products are introduced in physical and other online retail. • Own identifying, pitching and negotiating retail listing and distribution agreements that enable the sale and distribution of our products through JP channels. • Owns and leads engagements with senior leadership at retailers and distribution partners to support the continued growth and financial sustainability of product portfolio. • Inspect processes and mechanisms across the team that track sales forecasts, determine allocations, and plan shipments for each SKU. • Owns a Voice-of-the-customer feedback mechanism to influence product roadmaps, product features and address customer pain points. • Develop an organizational structure that aligns talent to the strategic objectives of the Channel Sales team, and hire & develop the best talent to fully recruit the team. • Lead and mentor a team of best-in-class Account Managers, Channel Marketing Managers and Field Sales, and create an environment which enables professional growth and motivates colleagues. • Develop and track VP and Director level goals with partner teams to ensure business cases are met. • Serve as the single threaded owner for all new category distribution business reviews, with regular Director and VP interaction. • Localize international best practice and export best practice developed in JP as an active member of the global Devices Channel Sales and Marketing organization. |

【必須(MUST)】 - Proven track record of developing new channel verticals to drive business outcomes.- Proven track record of successfully selling into Top Japan Retailers, preferably in Consumer Electronics categories. - Highly analytical, including demonstrated ability to convert raw data into actionable insights and recommendations. - Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment. - Excellent communicator, with a track record of using writing to drive decisions and outcomes. |
